Building Permits is written in Oracle and requires either an Oracle Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition database. Building Permits runs on Microsoft based servers, and workstations, and runs across either Microsoft or Novell Lans. The user need not exit the work area, but only "zoom" in and see the following types of additional information featured in separate windows on the screen;

Journal Area:

This is a full receivables module that allows the user to accept payments for building permits, or issue building refunds. This module integrates to Vailtech's General Ledger system.
